World Exploration (I & II)
This program is designed to introduce students to learning about other countries and foreign languages. Students will explore multiple countries and cultures while learning keywords in their native languages. Students will also develop cultural awareness as they embark on this journey. Additionally, they will design and build a project based on one of the countries. Students will make their own “passport” booklet to document their experiences.
The World Exploration Enrichment program invites participants on a dynamic journey across continents, cultures, and civilizations—past and present. Designed to expand global awareness and cultural understanding, this program immerses learners in the geography, history, languages, customs, and innovations of diverse regions around the world. Participants will explore different countries, cultures, and cuisines as they create their own passports and projects. Bon Voyage! The World Exploration program reinforces instruction in math and language arts, and it is designed to meet the needs of states that implement Common Core standards, S.O.L.s, S.E.L., project-based learning, and STEM education.
