The Culminating Event of the SmArtist Program is a showcase of student artwork. Tasty Education (I & II)

This program provides a fun and engaging opportunity for participants to learn through cooking. As they create memories in the kitchen, they also design their own cookbooks to share with their families, all while developing math skills in the process. In addition, participants receive a $150 gift card for food purchases. Tasty Education supports instruction in mathematics and language arts and is designed to meet the needs of various educational standards, including Common Core, S.O.L.s, S.E.L., project-based learning, and STEM.
Learning through cooking is a dynamic way to teach children. We strive to teach students to cook with real food while learning along the way. School enrichment classes never tasted so good! Our lessons are 50-60 minutes long. Since real-world relevance is critical in engaging students, students will prepare a recipe along with an SOL activity to complement the delicious dish. Enrichment providers deliver step-by-step, age-appropriate, hands-on instruction, which makes learning to cook real food fun for everyone!
