Tinkershop (I & II)

Tinkershop allows students to investigate and explore assembling and disassembling electronics, instruments, etc. Students get to use tools and learn about related careers and skills.
This class is hands-on, fun, and a tremendous
learning opportunity. Tinkershop reinforces teaching in Math and Language Arts and is heterogeneous to meet the needs of states that utilize (SOLs, Common Core, Essential Standards, and more). In addition, it also incorporates S.E.L. and project-based learning. STEM Certified
Participants enjoy disassembling and reassembling various electronic devices, including game systems and clocks, in these hands-on lessons. Let's begin fixing! Tinkershop enhances instruction in math and language arts and is designed to accommodate the needs of states that implement Common Core standards, S.O.L.s, S.E.L., project-based learning, and STEM education.
